Broker access requests

When you submit the broker access form, we store the details you enter (name, business email, phone number, active regions, buyer estimate) and use them for one purpose: to review your request, respond to you and — if approved — provide the broker pack and register your introductions. We do not sell these details or pass them to third parties for their own purposes.

We contact you and share the broker pack and further details via WhatsApp, a messaging service of Meta Platforms, using the number you provide.

Requests are transmitted via our hosting provider (Vercel) to our own workflow server operated on rented infrastructure in the EU (Hetzner), where they are stored. The team is notified of new requests through a messaging service; this notification can include the details you submitted. Requests that do not lead to an approved broker relationship are kept only for record-keeping of the review and are deleted on request at any time.

General enquiries

When you submit the enquiry form on our homepage, we store the details you enter (whether you enquire as investor, buyer or broker, name, email, phone number and your message) and use them for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and to share further information about the project with you. We contact you by email, phone or WhatsApp, a messaging service of Meta Platforms. Together with the form we receive the browser type (user agent) and any campaign parameters in the page address. We do not sell these details or pass them to third parties for their own purposes.

Enquiries are transmitted and stored in the same way as broker access requests (Vercel, then our own workflow server in the EU at Hetzner), and the team is notified through a messaging service. Enquiries are deleted on request at any time.

Buyer enquiries

When you submit the enquiry form on the buyer page, we store the details you enter (name, email, whether you enquire for yourself or a principal, WhatsApp number with country code and, if given, your message) and use them for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and continue a private conversation about the property. If you arrived through a broker’s link, we also record which broker introduced you. Together with your details we receive your browser’s user agent (browser and device type) as technical connection data.

Your enquiry is transmitted via our hosting provider (Vercel) to our own workflow server operated on rented infrastructure in the EU (Hetzner), where it is processed and stored. The team is notified of new enquiries through the messaging service Telegram. This notification includes the details you submitted.

We contact you about your enquiry via WhatsApp, a messaging service of Meta Platforms, or by email. We use your WhatsApp number only for this enquiry. We send you updates by email only if you tick the separate, optional box for this, and you can withdraw that choice at any time.

We keep your enquiry until it is closed, at the latest after 24 months, and delete it earlier on request at any time. For questions about your enquiry or a deletion request, write to tilo@capetown-estate.com.

Cookies

The buyer page sets the first-party cookie koc_r only when you open it through a broker’s referral link. It holds that link’s referral code for 90 days so that an enquiry you send can be attributed to the broker who introduced you. It is read only by this website and is not used to track you across other sites. When you open the page through the link in a private property brief we sent you, it also sets koc_l, which holds that brief’s reference for 90 days, records your visit and adds the reference to an enquiry you send.

Visit measurement

The page records basic first-party usage events (page view, section reached, form started) together with the invitation reference contained in your personal link. No third-party analytics, advertising pixels or external font services are used. The invitation reference is kept in your browser's session storage for the duration of the visit only. On the buyer page only a page view is recorded, and only when you arrive through a brief link. That brief reference is kept in the cookie koc_l for 90 days (see Cookies). Servers hosting the page may log requests, including URLs and technical connection data.

Map

The map in the Location & Access section is provided by Google Maps and loads with that section of the page. When it loads, Google may process connection data such as your IP address and may set cookies. The address of this page, including any invitation reference, is not passed on to Google. Google’s privacy policy applies.

Invitations and introductions

Invitation links identify the invited broker, not a buyer. Do not enter buyer identities in the form; introduction and protection terms are agreed separately in writing.

External links

External sites open only when you follow a link and apply their own data practices.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your details at any time via the Information Officer named above.
